An elegant Wedding at the Gables on long beach island

As a professional photographer, I had the privilege of capturing a breathtaking wedding at The Gables Historic Inn and Restaurant, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Long Beach Island, New Jersey. This intimate venue is a true paradise for couples seeking a picturesque setting for their special day, and a dream come true for photographers looking to create unforgettable images. The Gables, one of the best wedding venues in Long Beach Island, New Jersey, is the ultimate destination for couples seeking an intimate and picturesque wedding experience, offering a stunning backdrop for unforgettable photos, no matter the weather.

One of the most striking features of The Gables is its exquisite gardens, meticulously maintained and bursting with vibrant colors. The lush greenery and fragrant flowers provide a stunning backdrop for wedding photos, allowing me to capture the beauty and emotion of the day in every shot. From the charming gazebo to the winding paths lined with blooms, every corner of this venue offers a unique and enchanting setting.

I’ve been obsessed with Bridgerton lately, and as soon as I walked into the Gables on LBI, I was getting regency vibes. It’s so elegant and beautiful, with florals everywhere.

Now, I’ll talk about Meg & Noelle, two of the most laid-back brides out there.

Their Story

They met during the pandemic, and their first date was a trip to PetSmart where they adopted a beta fish. Meg ended up helping Noelle set up their fish tank, and they hit it off right away. Both Meg and Noelle proposed to each other.

Megan proposed first at an ice skating rink in Philly. The proposal itself wasn't a surprise, but Noelle was surprised by Megan's cousin Samantha and her best friend Anna (both in the wedding party) there to take pictures of the moment, and celebrate with us. The next day, Noelle proposed at home over a homemade dinner of chicken pot pie and creme brulee (Megan's favorite foods!). They chose Long Beach Island for their wedding destination because Megan’s parents own a house in Brant Beach, and they love LBI.

The Gables

Did you know it used to be called “The Green Gables”, until Sondra and her Husband Stephen renovated in 2005 and renamed it “The Gables Inn and Restaurant”. I’m mind blown that my husband has lived here his whole life, and I have been here since 2004, and we have never went to dinner at the Gables. It’s now, a must, since I finally got to try their delicious food.

What an amazing venue for an intimate wedding on Long Beach Island. As much as I love the beach, you do not need it as a backdrop since the Gables is surrounded by beautiful gardens. It doesn’t even matter if it rains, since they provide a covering for the ceremony and reception. They also have five beautiful bedrooms, a library, three dining rooms, an elegant piano, and of course, the outdoor gardens.

Huge Congrats to Dr. and Mrs. Sterling!!! Thank you for choosing me to capture your day!!!

As a photographer, I was thrilled to work at The Gables, as its intimate atmosphere allowed me to connect with the couple and their guests on a personal level. The venue's warm and welcoming ambiance created a sense of comfort and ease, enabling me to capture genuine moments of joy, laughter, and love throughout the day.

In conclusion, The Gables in Long Beach Island, New Jersey, is an extraordinary wedding venue that offers the perfect combination of natural beauty and intimate charm. As a professional photographer, I cannot recommend this location enough for couples who dream of a picture-perfect wedding day. With its enchanting gardens and inviting atmosphere, The Gables is sure to make your special day an unforgettable experience, both for you and your guests.
