Scotland Run in New Jersey offers so many photo opportunities especially if the weather is beautiful. This is one of my favorite wedding venues! They have a romantic ceremony pavilion surrounded by tons of greenery, completely separate from the reception.
Overlooking their gigantic golf course, the reception hall has an elegant cocktail area with vaulted ceilings and a balcony.
Patty + Steve
One of the recent weddings I’ve done was in June of 2018, Patty + Steve. Their story began when they met online. Steve has family that lives in Stone Harbor, NJ so they often visited the Jersey shore. They planned a weekend down the shore to watch the Polar Bear Plunge. Steve took Patty and their dog, Marlin to the beach the day before the plunge. He proposed to her and hired a photographer to capture her reaction.
Getting Ready
Patty and her bridesmaids got ready at the Marriott in Glassboro, NJ which is about 15 minutes away from Scotland Run.
Steve and the groomsmen relaxed upstairs in the new conservatory and Marlin, of course, accompanied them.
First Look On The Golf Course
They had their first look on one of the golf cart paths. It was romantic and intimate, just the two of them.
Wedding Ceremony at Scotland Run
Wow. This ceremony was absolutely beautiful. The greenery made it look like a scene from The Secret Garden.
Wedding Reception at Scotland Run
The wedding reception details were very romantic with green, white and gold accents. The combination came together beautifully.
The night ended with a sparkler exit. I loved sneaking out with the bride, groom and bridal party to achieve this shot.
