Brant Beach Yacht Club Weddings Best of 2019

Located on Long Beach Island’s bayside, Brant Beach Yacht Club is one of my favorite wedding venues. The Barnegat Bay sunsets are second to none and the site is always different and unique. The venue offers beautiful natural light from the windows all around. Their large deck overlooking the bay is great for cocktail hour and sunset portraits. Brides also like the option to use the covered deck space as a ceremony backup location in case of rain. Another great aspect of this wedding venue is that it’s conveniently close to the ocean, so wedding portraits on the beach are always a great easy option.

Beckie & Dan

How They Met

They met at Stockton, NJ during Beckie's last semester in a very mundane class about dinosaurs or volcanoes or some other crazy topic that didn't peak either of their interests. Dan walked into class "eager to learn" but immediately picked his seat against the back wall next to the cute girl. Without a doubt, they seemed to catch one another’s attention.

The Ceremony

Reynolds always does an amazing job with the florals for the ceremony. The arch and benches were from Rustic Drift, and once again, they nailed another Long Beach Island wedding.

The Reception Details

The dark blue with the gold and blush tones made for beautiful, classic table decor. Their doughnut table was one of the prettiest I’ve seen. Beckie even included a cute cop themed doughnut sign, since Dan is a police officer.

Shelby & Leo

How They Met

It was a hot night in the summer of 2011 when one of Shelby’s friends dragged her along with her to a carnival in the Bronx, N.Y., with zero expectations for meeting anyone. They didn’t exchange numbers that night, but Leo was always in the back of her mind. It wasn’t until 5 months later that Shelby had the courage to reach out to him through Facebook. From their first date at the movies, to their first anniversary, they never thought their story would turn out the way it has.

Check out their proposal (shot by me!) in How They Asked .

First Look

Shelby did a First Look with her dad and groom. Her dad’s reaction is absolutely priceless!

The Ceremony

Oh my gosh! Shelby’s dad officiated the wedding and it was so so sweet. He talked about how he had one job during the proposal, and how he messed it up Star Wars style. Instead of, “Will you marry me?” he arranged the surfboards “Marry me you will.” This blunder will be a memory they will never forget! He did a great job and brought the guests to tears.

The Reception Details

Shelby & Leo went with a very organic theme for their wedding decor. The white macrame table runner with the bride and groom sign, was a perfect match.

Lyndsay & Jeff

How They Met

They met at Springfield College in Springfield, MA during their senior year of college at a party Lyndsay’s roommates threw.

The Ceremony

Lyndsay and Jeff had beautiful weather for their outdoor ceremony. They rented a floral arch from Rustic Drift, which we later took family and bridal portraits under.

The Reception Details

Lyndsay & Jeff had a beach themed wedding with gold accents. For their seating chart, they had their guests’ names written on seashells. During their first dance, Lyndsay showed off her pink Converse sneakers, and it was super cute!

Kayleigh & Brian

How They Met

Brian and Kayleigh's met as children. Kayleigh’s step-dad grew up with Brian's Uncle Bruce.

The bride and groom definitely built their wedding day around their passions. Check out their Star Wars wedding details!

The Ceremony

Kayleigh came out to Kermit the Frog’s Rainbow Connection, something I’ve never seen before! So beautiful. The dresser, table and arch from Rustic Drift set another beautiful tone for a beach ceremony. The seating chart was a gorgeous! Each table number was placed a gold ring covered in greenery.

The Reception

This Star Wars themed wedding was one of my favorites! Kayeligh and Brian had the Millennium Falcon as the cake topper and was also featured as the guest book, and as a part of Brian’s boutonniere. Each table was named after different locations in the Star Wars saga.
